- The OnHold Reserve System is our Preorder/Backorder system. You may add items to your OnHold, and we will put them on hold for you to add to your next order.
- You may backorder or preorder items by adding them to your OnHold from the product Details page.
- You may also elect to automatically backorder items from your orders that are not available.
- You cannot remove items from your OnHold after the items are Requested, OnHold, or OnOrder.
- OnHold items that have been on hold longer than 60 days are subject to autoship. Please make sure to claim your items before 60 days.
- Status Definitions:
OnHold - This item is in your OnHold, and will be automatically added to your next order.
Requested - This item will be held for you once available.
OnOrder - This item has been added to your most recent order, and should ship today.
- Orders of $375 or more in stock product to Qualified Retail Stores within the continental US (lower 48) qualify for GROUND Free Shipping.
NOTE: We will contact you if back orders lower your final order amount under the Minimum Free Shipping level. Please avoid ordering excessive amounts of items marked OUT or LOW.
- Items that ship via Brand Direct will only be shipped and charged once the Brand minimum price is reached. If the minimum is not hit for the current order those items will be held in the cart until an order meets the minimum.
- Tracking information will be provided for each individual Direct shipment.
- Credit Cards Accepted (2.5% convenience fee):
- Net Terms available to Qualified Retail Stores, upon request and reference check.
- Overdue invoices will be subject to a late payment fee of 2.5% per month. Payments are overdue if not received by due date.
- Returned or Bad Checks / ACH Payments are subject to an additional $35.00 fee.
- We must be notified of any shortages/errors/damages within 3 days after receipt of your order.
- All returns are subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%.
- Product that is returned due to error in shipping, or any mix-up on our part are generally not subject to restocking fees.
Some manufacturers/publishers impose restrictions on what type of retail operations may sell their products to consumers. Restricted products may only be purchased from Golden Distribution by retail stores that operate from a fixed, physical location, in an area zoned for commercial retail sales.
Proof of qualification to purchase restricted products may include, but is not limited to: pictures of the retail facility, copies of business licenses & tax identification numbers.
Restricted product may not be purchased by retail operations whose sole or primary method of sales is online/internet based.

- Due to exclusivity restrictions, some product lines cannot be supplied to business locations outside of the United States.
- SPE - special order item, we do not normally keep these products in stock and will special order it if requested
- NYA - not yet available or Preorder items
- OOS - out of stock at the manufacturer, but the item should be restocked
- OOP - out of print, if out of stock it will not be available again
- Low - low inventory level, usually this means just a few or one left.

- good - good stock, usually many copies available
